RedBeard celebrates 5th birthday

We're celebrating our 5th birthday and gratefully acknowledging the strong support we’ve received from our community, customers and suppliers since 2005. Staff and family party this Sunday. Official party Monday with local politicians and paparazzi expected - could there be an election looming?

RedBeard Historic Bakery now Australian Certified Organic!

We're feeling a virtuous glow: we've finally done the paperwork and are Australian Certified Organic! This includes our biscuits, pastries and all breads except one: the pumpkin cob (because the locally grown pumpkin is organic-in-conversion). We've been organic for 5 years, but now we can prove it: ACO no. 11214RP. Now let's all stand and sing together verse 3 of Joni Mitchell's "Big Yellow Taxi"...
